Change a life. Empower students with Bipolar Disorder who cannot afford a college education.
The Foundation Pools donors’ contributions and awards scholarships to students with a diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder who are currently in treatment. The students may be graduating high school seniors, or freshmen, sophomores or juniors attending college. These awards can be used toward tuition, fees, books, and room & board. Scholarships are from $500 to $2300, depending on yearly contributions.
To be eligible for the Jared Monroe Foundation Scholarship a student must:
A) Have a dx of bipolar disorder and currently receiving treatment. (Must attach a letter from your healthcare provider (i.e. therapist, psychiatrist, counselor, MD, etc.) confirming the dx)
B) Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a University/Junior College in the United States for the 2024 Academic School Year.
C) Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
D)Submit an answer to the essay question listed on application no later than 11:59 PM EST on May 1, 2024

Essay Topic: Describe your academic and career goals, your plans to achieve them and
discuss the challenges you have overcome in achieving your education due to having Bipolar
Disorder and your plan on continuing your success.
Applications for the 2024-2025 academic year are now open and will close May 1, 2024. If you wish to apply for a Scholarship for the 2024-25academic year, please fill out the application link below.
